Biographical Information
Wookwon Lee received the B.S. Degree in Electronics from the Inha University, Korea, in 1985, and the M.S. and D.Sc. Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University, Washington, DC, in 1992 and 1995, respectively. From 1986 to 1990, he was a researcher at the Semiconductor Laboratories of Samsung Electronics, Korea. From 1993 to 1995, he worked part-time for Bell Atlantic Personal Communications Inc., Arlington, Virginia. From 1996 to 2000, he was a radio systems designer at the Wireless Technology Laboratories of Nortel Networks, Ottawa, ON, Canada. He joined the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas in the Fall of 2000, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. Dr. Lee's research interests include wireless multiple access techniques, spread spectrum communications, channel propagation, antenna array processing, interference cancellation, radio link design and performance analysis, digital signal processing, and medium access control and radio link control techniques for terrestrial wireless networks.
